How is AI amplifying gender bias in language? Julia Luteijn, AICON artist and lecturer at the Hogeschool Rotterdam, presents the artwork ‘Kilo-girls’: a collection of computer-generated poems that reflect programmed gender biases, while paradoxically reminding us of women’s pivotal role in computing. The Feminist Generative AI Lab (TU Delft and EUR) invite the audience to add another layer to this artwork and to rethink how we design AI in politically turbulent times, by interacting with the 'Reprogramming Bias' installation.
Learn more about the artworks and discuss how we can rethink the design of AI in politically turbulent times with the Feminist Generative AI Lab directors, Sara Colombo and Francisca Grommé.
